I did not choose Music. Music chose me. In Kindergarten my parents gave me a Fischer Price Xylophone. I immediately turned the mallet into a microphone and began to sing in my bedroom dresser mirror to my clock radio. Even then I could tell my voice sounded different from the other kids with a tiny vibrato. In 1st grade I had my first vocal solo on stage for the school Christmas recital and that was it…I was hooked; from then on never wanted to do anything else. I feel so blessed to have this passion in my life, to be able to sing, song write and perform. I know I’ve been given a voice to make a positive impact with lyrics, and will forever contribute this gift of song to the world and others.

I'm grateful that I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life since I was a teenager. From the moment I picked up my first guitar and got lost in all the songs that played on my radio, I knew I was going to make music. I have this never ending passion to express myself through songwriting. It's a constant flow of inspiration that turns a sound in my head into a song. To share these songs with the world is my greatest joy. And I hope they bring a little piece of happiness to those who hear them.

For me, music is a way to climb out of the predictable pattern of everyday life. It is a way to express my creativity without being constrained by someone else’s expectations. It is an environment where you can work with like-minded people that simply have a passion for music. The ability to create something collaboratively and bring it to life for others to hear is a privilege. The ability to let everything go and create with others is the driving force to keep going. Never really knowing what the destination will be.
